Residual Marketing was built from real experience not theory. Born in Detroit and raised in Houston, Raheem Hemphill’s journey has always been driven by creativity, resilience, and a desire to build something bigger than himself. Early on, his passion was sports, especially baseball, but his path eventually shifted into music, business, and content creation. Like many artists and entrepreneurs starting out, Raheem faced a common problem — he had the vision but not the resources. He wanted high-quality music videos but couldn’t afford to consistently bring those ideas to life. Instead of waiting on opportunities, he created his own. He invested in a camera without knowing how to use it — or even having experience with computers. Through daily learning, hands-on practice, and nonstop consistency, he developed his skills from the ground up. What started as creating content for himself quickly turned into helping others. As he began working with artists and small businesses, he realized something most people overlook — content alone wasn’t enough. Businesses didn’t just need visuals… they needed results. After helping his first clients grow, he saw the impact firsthand — and that’s when everything shifted. That moment turned into a mission. Residual Marketing was built on real-life experiences with real clients, real challenges, and real results. It wasn’t created to just “offer services,” but to build a system that actually helps businesses grow. Today, Raheem — also known as AZ — leads Residual Marketing as more than a creator. He operates as a strategist and growth partner, combining content, advertising, and execution into a system designed to drive consistent revenue. But beyond business, his purpose is bigger. Raheem is passionate about giving back and creating opportunities for the next generation.
